Example Exhibits to Sponsor

The exhibits featured below are just a sampling of potential sponsorship opportunities and are intended to provide a glimpse of what the Insect Discovery Center hopes to offer. They are not an exhaustive list, and additional exhibits and experiences will be developed. Please note that these examples are conceptual and do not guarantee that any specific exhibit will be included in the final museum.

The Sarlacc Pit

Get up close and feed the animal which inspired the infamous  Star Wars'' Sarlacc beast of Tatooine - the Antlion (Myrmeleontidae)! Guests can watch with bated breathe as the antlion awaits, buried in the sand with mandibles exposed, for a passing ant before striking with lightning speed.  If the ant escapes, it flicks sand to make it lose its footing and fall into the waiting jaws.
